For those of you raring to go with this discussion, here's the thread to get started. I've always found this one to be a disappointment after the emotional and shocking opening arc of S3.

I would have to agree. I found it a hard and brutal episode to get through.

I liked this episode, I'm just not sure why. Have to wonder about the idea of clones though, was Section really that far ahead of everyone else?

I think I have no feelings about this episode ( I'm totally Sectionized. LOL ) I can't say I ejnoyed it, but can't say I didn't like it either... The music in this episode is absolutely haunting...like reminds me of horror movies.
I do love how Nikita beats the cr@p out of Cernov's bodyguard or whatever he was supposed to be...and the way Michael looks at her Of course...I too was kind of disappointed after GOH...I expected something more...but I guess that's Section and that's LFN...would've been too good to be true to have some sort of emotional closeness between M&N revealed so soon I liked it that his priority was N, and her safety, and only after making sure she wan't harmed, he procedeed with the mission And now...a question: Why do you think Section had clones of their personnel? I assume that if they had a Nikita clone...they had to have clones after the other key operatives as well... and why would they have a Nikita clone in the first place ? They don't like her much anyway, for being too emotional and going against the rules most of the times ![]() |

Pattyko -- Did you ever see the Michael Keaton movie "Multiplicity?" With each multiplication, the copies deteriorated and by the fourth or fifth one, it was REALLY pathetic!
I think the IDEA was that if the operatives had potential, then cloning them would yield more operatives with potential! I'm still not positive that little girl WAS Nikita's clone. ![]() GOTTA HAVE MICHAEL'S JOYSTICK! I have command. ![]() NIKITA: "You're going to kill me?" MICHAEL: "No. I'll shoot you in the leg and carry you back. But, it'll be easier for both of us if you can walk." "In life there is always some evil, some good. Quote: I don't think I did, although the title sounds familiar...I'll look for it Quote: that's very possible, but why go through all that trouble? I mean as kids...they are of no use ( unless the yare like that Jerome kid from HCFF) Maybe it was just the advantage of conditioning them the way Section wanted them to turn out Quote: I can't be sure she was either. But...Nikita seemed to pe positive. I mean, I would most certainly recognize a little Patty walking around... Michael didn't see the kid at all and he appeared to think that Nikita imagined the whole thing...As for the little girl's age...I'm terrible at guessing ages so...I have no idea how old she seemed: to me it looked like she was 4 or 5, but as I've said...I'm not good at "predicting" ages. Of course...assuming that Section didn't have possibility to clone a human being...who WERE those kids there? ![]() |

I'd like to think I'd recognize "me" for sure...but since I've never seen a clone of myself I can't really tell you that 100% Soo....coming back to the topic...in Section's case...do you think we saw clones, or just prodigy kids training? While I do admit that Nikita may have been wrong... her argments were quite plausible. I mean...why would Section want to destroy such an advanced lab? Even if we suppose Section wouldn't be interested in cloning their operatives, wouldn't they at least want to study the technology? I tend to go with nikita on that one..they destroyed it because they already were more advanced. ![]() |

Gotta give Nikita her due, the way she kept Milan from incinerating himself and anyone close by was done incredibly well. It's strange that while her argument was brillant, it was also unfortunate that only such perverse logic could compel him to surrender. There was no triumph in Nikita's eyes when she finally convinced Milan not to " push the button." There was only saddness.
I may be reaching, but I tend to think or at least hope that Micheal wasn't really as cold blooded about the threat to Birkoff as he appeared. I like to believe Micheal was watching Birkoff's back, albeit without Birkoff's knowledge just in case. However, I would not have missed Birkoff's " DIE BASTARD," for anything. Felix was such an idiot. Operations authorizes abeyance, not Seymour. Ofcourse Felix could have taken aim at the boss, but why do that when its so much more convenient to blame someone on a lower rung of the ladder. |

hhhmm..this episode.....
I have to say, at first I was kind-a like "did they just run out of ideas, so they brougth back a 'dead' character?" Like somebody mentioned before, I loved when she beat the hell out of the bodyguards in the beginning. lol, so funny. I loved the idea that they were cloning people (Section, that is). I thought it was such a cool and creepy ending, how all of a sudden they were relocated and all. I enjoyed it. I wrote this on another post, but it makes sense to put it here too: When the show was airing on TV, I started watching in the middle of the episode and saw Nikita gettin' down with Birkoff...I was like "What are they doing?!" So I stopped watching for years. ------------------------------------------------- Michael: "..Tell them only what they need to know." Nikita: "In other words, treat them like animals.." Michael: "Animals with guns." |

I didn,t know where to go with this eppy. Birky authorizing to kill in the opening tag.
Ops made some serious changes about guns in Section. Now if ever there were grounds for cancellation, Pointing a gun at Ops," DIE BASTARD" .Maybe this was a test as Birky assumed as far as the cloning, JMO, key players to keep Section operating in the distance Future about getting rid of the "INPLANT" OMG Maddy & Ops would have been in" Clone Heaven" |

It made me wonder when Nikita made the comment, I have seen pictures of myself when I was a little girl, and that little girl looked like me or along those same lines. Wouldnt you remember what you looked like from looking in the mirror? It makes you wonder what kind of childhood did she have.
